Carlin started at Temple University in 2012 and currently advises undergraduate students in the Public Health major. Her career in higher education started in 2000 at Chestnut Hill College as an Assistant Registrar. During her tenure at CHC, she moved up to Associate Registrar, served as the Interim Head Registrar, Academic Advisor and Director of Academic Advising.
In addition to serving her students, Carlin teaches a University Seminar for Transfer Students and started a sub-committee investigating best practices among all advisors across Temple’s campus. She has been happily married for 35 years and has been blessed with two wonderful sons. In her spare time, she loves to shop and play with the guitar group at her church. Her first home was in Philadelphia on Temple Road named for the old Temple U stadium. It seems she was always destined to be an Owl!
