Francine Kohen has been on staff at Temple since 2005 in several different roles. These include many years working as a Research Speech-Language Pathologist in the Eleanor M. Saffran Center for Cognitive Neuroscience and as faculty in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. She teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses and is a clinical instructor in the Temple University Speech and Hearing Center. She is a certified member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and a member of the Academy of Neurological Communication Disorders and Sciences. She has participated in “Finding the Words,” a grant-funded project that addresses literacy needs of those with acquired aphasia. She is one of the founding members of the "Philadelphia Aphasia Community at Temple (PACT).
