I was so proud to represent CPH at a second graduation ceremony several weeks ago as 89 students made the walk across Temple's Mitten Hall to receive honors for their achievements in various community programs run by our Center for Social Policy and Community Development. Their ages spanned the spectrum, but they all shared a pride and accomplishment that was well-deserved and inspiring.
The evening was certainly a testament to the students’ dedication, but also served as a reminder of CPH’s own commitment to community engagement. It plays such an important role in our mission and the reach of our programs and efforts, and stands alongside academics and research as a cornerstone of our College’s foundation.
On a night in June in Mitten Hall I was reminded why.
All the best,
